Thanks to you both. I didn't make brisket but did make a bunch of latkes while I was up north this weekend visiting my parents. And yes - we are a member of the applesauce branch of the tribe.

I'll have to save you some of my own applesause when I come down to the DC area in the spring- for a dental meeting ( yes a nice Jewish dentist-if they only knew). It is amazing what fun one can have with the sauce (beside eating).
