A Grateful Witness to History

I was there.

We all were there.

How cool! And yes.. I was there too, though in spirit next to the radio.

We were rivited to the tv. I was looking out hard for you, just in case you were there, but as the only clues I had to go on were 'does NOT look her age' and 'fab nipples' I'm not sure I spotted you :)

happy inaugaration day. I'm looking forward to the next four years unfolding...

i still get a little teary eyed and with a lump in my heart for that moment. i am so, so freaking happy.

Yes we can!!
Laugh. Dance. Change.

How awesome to be a part of history.

mina, I think I felt you there. I felt everyone there. Our 2 million bodies were just the physical manifestation of millions more happy grateful souls from all around the world.

mamacrow, this absolutely cracked me up. We were on the left, in front of the American History Museum. Does that help? :-)

toy - I hope I never stop being moved to tears when I think of that day - or each day, when I hear what he has accomplished. So much already! People around here are still floating. There's a different feeling in the air. Kinder, more giving, more cooperative as if an evil spell has been lifted. The change is greater than one could ever have imagined.
