O sweet spontaneous
earth how often have
the
doting
fingers of
prurient philosophers pinched
and
poked
thee
, has the naughty thumb
of science prodded
thy
beauty . how
often have religions taken
thee upon their scraggy knees
squeezing and
buffeting thee that thou mightest conceive
gods
(but
true
to the incomparable
couch of death thy
rhythmic
lover
thou answerest
them only with
spring)

if anyone can teach a computer- unsophisticated slave kitten how to keep the layout of indentations from the original poem, i would be ever so grateful. they show in compose but disappear when i publish. thanks.
I may be a little late and you may have your question answered... but just in case... you have to click on the "edit html" tab just next to compose. Yup, you have to deal with code -- but it's not very complicated.
